Babar Azam is a Pakistani cricketer who was born on 15 October 1994. he’s the captain of the Pakistani cricket team altogether the schemes. He’s also a cousin of famous Pakistani cricketers referred to as Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal; according to Babar Azam, his interest in cricket was developed thanks to his cousins, and he started playing it. Rana Sadiq is his first coach who taught him basic skills, and afterward, he joined the U-19 club. As an arising star, he played games for several clubs; then, he started playing first-class cricket for the state bank of Pakistan. As a captain in his initial phase as a cricketer, he also won many trophies for his respective club. He made his debut within the world of cricket in 2015; his professionalism and keenness for the sport took no time for him to form his place within the National cricket team.

PSL Journey

His PSL journey made him famous everywhere in the country, and cricket lovers and professionals started noticing him as an emerging star and as an excellent batsman within the cricket world. In the very first season of PSL, he was representative of Islamabad united and played quite well. Within the 2017 season, he played for Karachi kings, while in the 2018 season, he played as vice-captain for an equivalent team making five half-centuries. While in PSL 2020, he was the highest scorer batsmen throughout the series, and also, as a captain, he performed exceptionally well and made them won the series. He received the ‘Man of the Series award in the 2020 season, which was impossible without his diligence and love for cricket.

In the years 2016, 2017, 2019, he was the highest scorer in the test series. While within the year 2018,2020, he was the leading scorer batsmen in ODI. He has made many records and achieved many titles in his short interval of cricket career; many cricketers fail to achieve this level of success and name in their lifetime career. Internationally, as a batsman, he’s being compared to Virat Kohli, who is one of the foremost promising cricketers and a star within cricket history, and a legend for cricket lovers. Babar Azam seems to surpass Virat Kohli in his achievements.
