‘Mahindra Singh Dhoni mentioned’: Scott Styris feels like Chinnai Super Kings are in a ‘big trouble’ ahead of the IPL 2021.

Ahead of IPL 2021, Scott Styris, the former all-rounder of New Zealand, is worried for the Chennai Super Kings after they released the list of their released and retained players the total number of Six players including Harbhajan Singh, Kedar Jadhav, Piyush Chawla, Shane Watson and Murali Vijay released with Styris pushing the dire need of the young generation to take over the cricket arena.

Mahindra Singh Dhoni mentioned

Chennai Super Kings doing the right thing has this time given the preference to the young talent experience, which is not a very good thing continuously for the last few seasons. It had worked in 2018 and 2019 which always proves not good for young players’ future when Chennai Super Kings won the title and finished as runner-up the year later but proved to be a disaster for Chennai Super Kings and backfired the season lastly happened.

Mahindra Singh Dhoni

After the Chennai Super Kings team eliminated, the team captain Mahindra Singh Dhoni spoke about the dire need of bringing some fresh faces and rejig the side. Styris believes that the problem is not solved by releasing the six players doesn’t seem to solve the problem purpose which the captain has highlighted.

“I think that due to some external pressures, their hands are tied. The reality is that the for the last three years has been that the Chennai Super Kings has been old fashioned, but that was always going to hurt them and still need the younger generation to come through. Mahindra Singh Dhoni has mentioned that. He has acquired about handing it over to the young generation. I don’t know where that comes from” Styris told the team of Star Sports channel.

Everything that was told in the past has been done at the time at the present of time. Chennai Super Kings will rely on the experienced ones such as Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Dwayne Bravo, and Faf du Plessis. This is why the auction became crucial for the franchises to decide, Styris reckons. Chennai Super Kings move into the 2021 IPL mini-auction, going to take place around 15th February 2021, with the purse value of INR 22.9 crore, which must be spent wisely to fill slots for one overseas and seven domestic players.

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said in his previous press conference that the Indian team would not take part in Asia Cup 2020 if Pakistan hosts it.

These types of statements are due to the bad relationship between both countries due to politics. Approximately more than seven-years passed, both teams had not played a single series or match except ICC and ACC matches. In 2012 Pakistan toured India and played two t20I and three ODI matches.

Asia Cup 2020 will play in Dubai and India and Pakistan; both teams will participate in it said by Ganguly. According to media, a meeting was arranged on 3rd March to solve the problem of venue and PCB chairman Eshan Mani will also attend this meeting.

AB de Villiers don’t perform in PSL 2020 to manage workload

Lahore Qalandars will lose their extraordinary player AB de Villiers in PSL 2020 auction. According to media reporters, former captain of South Africa team “Villiers” will not take part in the PSL 2020 due to his workload. He Said:

“Just managing workload. On-off as much as possible”.

AB, a dashing batsman quit the international cricket previous year and takes part in different cricket leagues. He played PSL and IPL previous edition and showed his excellent performance.

De Villers In PSL 4

While in PSL 4th edition AB had played nine games and don’t turn back to Pakistan for further games because of back pain. AB collected audience love with his performance in PSL 2019 by scoring 218 runs in the league. Absence of De Villers from PSL 2020 a big loses for Lahore Qalandars as well as followers of cricket.

While De Villiers is currently playing in Mzansi Super League for Tshwane Spartans at home ground, after this league, he will take part in Bash League held in Australia.

Some predictors reported that Villiers would not take part in PSL 2020 because all games of PSL 5th edition will be played in Pakistan. Some other international players also withdraw their names from the PSL 2020 because of security threat.
